Great Artwork

Solitaire Plus provides large, realistic card artwork for displays with 1024x768 or higher display resolution. Solitaire Plus is designed for and looks best with large monitors. If you own a 17" or larger monitor, then Solitaire Plus will look great!
For smaller displays, a small card setting is provided that allows all the games to fit on an 800x600 size display.
Solitaire Plus requires at least 800x600 display resolution to play all the games, and high-color or better is required to use custom card backs and backgrounds. |

Context-
Sensitive
Menus
|
Each game provides a context-sensitive menu that can be accessed by clicking with the right mouse button (or left mouse button if you have your mouse set for left-handed operation).
Consistent, application-wide shortcuts are provided for most menu items.
For example, you may undo a move by simply pressing the Ctrl key and the Z key simultaneously. Holding down the keys will result in repeated undo's at the key repeat rate you defined in the Windows' Control
Panel. |

Smart-Dragging
|
Solitaire Plus improves the dragging operations during game play by scanning the game window for a valid position for the card (or a pile of cards) being dragged, and then automatically moving the card if dragging is terminated before hovering over a specific pile. The cursor also visually indicates when the smart-dragging has found a match (as shown at left).
The smart-dragging feature is especially useful on notebooks equipped with a trackpad or eraser-type cursor control. Most moves can be accomplished by simply nudging a card and the smart-dragging will make the move automatically. |

Any Image as
a Card Back
|
Solitaire Plus allows you to use any BMP or JPEG image as a custom card back for the deck.
Solitaire Plus will scale images of any size to fit, however best results are achieved if you crop/scale images to 70 pixels wide by 115 pixels high before using them as a card back.
[GIF images are unfortunately not supported due to patent restrictions. However, you may convert GIF images to BMP or JPEG format and use them.]

Custom
Backgrounds
|
In addition to allowing you to use any image as a card back, Solitaire Plus supports the use of any BMP or JPEG image as a tiled background.
You may also use a solid color background, or an arbitrary two-color vertical or horizontal gradient. Any colors you can define in the standard Windows' color panel can be used.
Combine your own custom card backs, color gradients, or background images into your own personal theme while playing solitaire! There are no limits to the possible combinations.

Control the
Spacing of
Cards
|
Solitaire Plus provides you with control over the spacing of the cards in the tableau piles. Adjust the card spacing to your own preference to view as much or little of the covered cards as you desire. Regardless of your spacing preference, Solitaire Plus will automatically adjust the card spacing to always keep all cards visible in large tableau piles. |

Game Statistics
|
Single-user statistics are collected for each game in Solitaire Plus. The statistics include the following:
- Number of games won
- Number of games lost
- Total number of games attempted
- Average score of all games
- Highest losing score
- Average score of games lost
- Longest winning streak and ending date of the streak
- Current winning streak
The win/loss and winning streak statistics may be cleared independently for each game.
Solitaire Plus also shows you statistics for any #1 Free Solitaire games played on the same computer!
